Quantum Integrability of Certain Boundary Conditions 1
We study the quantum integrability of the O(N) Nonlinear σ (nlσ) model and the O(N) Gross-Neveu (GN) model on the half-line. We show that the nlσ model is integrable with Neumann, Dirichlet and a mixed boundary condition and that the GN model is integrable if ψ a + | x=0 = ±ψ a − | x=0. We also comment on the boundary condition found by Corrigan and Sheng for the O(3) nlσ model. 1 Work done und...
متن کاملSufficient set of integrability conditions of an orthonomic system
Every orthonomic system of partial differential equations is known to possess a finite number of integrability conditions sufficient to ensure the validity of all. Herewith we offer an efficient algorithm to construct a sufficient set of integrability conditions free of redundancies.
متن کاملIntegrability conditions for homogeneous potentials Third order integrability conditions for homogeneous potentials of degree -1
We prove an integrability criterion of order 3 for a homogeneous potential of degree−1 in the plane. Still, this criterion depends on some integer and it is impossible to apply it directly except for families of potentials whose eigenvalues are bounded. To address this issue, we use holonomic and asymptotic computations with error control of this criterion and apply it to the potential of the f...
متن کاملAn extension of stochastic calculus to certain non-Markovian processes
By time changes of Lévy processes we construct two operators on Fock space whose sum is a second quantized operator, and that complement the annihilation and creation operators whose probabilistic interpretations use shifts of trajectories. This results in an analytic construction, for certain nonMarkovian processes, of stochastic calculus including Itô differentials, generators and associated ...
متن کاملAn Extension Theory for a Certain Class of Loops
Introduction. If £ is a group with a normal subgroup K one may form the quotient group E/K^M. Conversely, for preassigned groups K, M, there is the extension problem: to determine (in some sense) all groups E with K as normal subgroup such that E/K^M. Much progress has been made on this problem, particularly through the work of Baer [l, 2, 3] and the cohomology theory of Eilenberg and MacLane [...
